As a child growing up on the Northside, Neil Martin’s earliest introduction to Center of Life was as a participant in the KRUNK Movement. Neil would go on to attend the University of Michigan. After obtaining his degree, Neil made his way back to Pittsburgh and eventually, Center of Life in 2014. While Neil’s position is a bit “behind the scenes,” he still loves getting involved in the Hazelwood community. He aims to utilize his many passions to elevate the socioeconomic trajectory of as many families as possible.

You know that teacher who will make you work harder than anyone else would, but you leave them having learned more about the content and yourself than ever before? Hazelwood is that teacher.”
