Shundeena Beard - Music & Arts Manager

Shundeena Beard is a multifaceted teacher-artist with proven skills in education, collaboration, and musical artistry.

After starting violin at the age of nine, she continued to win notable competitions in performance around the Pittsburgh region as well as guest appearances on the radio and tv show “From the Top: Live at Carnegie Hall.”

Following her career as an elementary school strings instructor, Shundeena has had years of practice in building innovative programming that engages students and colleagues.

She is excited to support COL’s mission and initiatives that empower the Hazelwood community through musical and artistic means.
