NOT FINISHED YET is centered around the food heritage of Hazelwood, including periods of food scarcity and abundance. While many of Hazelwood's services have been taken away, the community continues to stay strong and push for change. As Hazelwood becomes the next community targeted for redevelopment in the city of Pittsburgh, the current residents have a cautious optimism about the future of their community. Throughout the 2013-2014 academic year, Center of Life Staff worked along side 10 Taylor Allderdice students from the community of Hazelwood. The film NOT FINISHED YET is the result of their research and interviews with community residents, local businesses, activists, and politicians.
